Barb Mosher of CMSWire is conducting a poll on intranet software capabilities which runs till July 21. Although the survey is ongoing it yields some interesting insights into the intranet market. A majority of the replies reflect the increasing capabilities of intranet software, as well as the awareness of intranet capabilities amongst respondents. Collaboration tools seem to be an important part of intranets these days, as opposed to the static repositories of content they used to be in yesteryear. At the same time, a certain segment, although in minority, still lacks awareness of basic intranet concepts. The following are the results of the poll so far. You can participate here.
